Speaking at the Harvard International Law Journal 2022 Annual Symposium with panels on Modernizing the International Criminal Court, Black Women in International Law, Human Rights and Democracy, and The New Global Tax Framework

I addressed the conference on how the Advisory Opinion of the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights on the conduct of elections in times of covid19 has contributed to advancing democracy in Africa.

This year’s Symposium brought together leading scholars and practitioners from around the world to discuss current international law topics and ideas on how some of our most pressing global issues may be addressed through international law.

The keynote address will be delivered by Professor David J. Scheffer, Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, Clinical Professor Emeritus and Director Emeritus of the Center for International Human Rights at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
